Captain Robert L. Moore

Captain Moore died after suffering a medical emergency several hours following a response to a reported structure fire.
Captain Moore began his career as a part-time firefighter with the Kennett Fire Department in September, 1992 and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in November 1995. He accepted a full-time position as a Police Officer with the Kennett Police Department in May of 2000, and he continued to serve as a part-time firefighter. In May of 2005, Captain Moore accepted a full-time position with the Fire Department and has continued to also serve as a part-time Police Officer. Robert was promoted to the rank of Captain in August 2019. Captain Moore was a well respected member of our public safety team and will be missed by all who knew him.
